WHAT’S CREATIVE TOURISM?
First defined in 2000 as “Tourism which offers visitors the opportunity to develop their creative potential through active participation in courses and learning experiences which are characteristic of their holydays destination where they are undertaken”. (Richards and Raymond, 2000)
Creative Tourism is now considered as the new generation of cultural tourism by offering the travelers the opportunity to experiment a wide range of destinations over the world through the participation in creative activities.
The creative tourists’ profiles are declining through a wide range of travelers who all coincide on the importance given to the creative and artistic activity they will carry on in their destination holiday.
There are generally exclusive for those may concern the object of their travel but are used to explore new destinations.
